Geographical location of Schoenau-Gebueg at the edge of Rhineland-Palatinate.Most people in Germany and the USA have heard or read about the city of Pirmasens. It is known as the capital of the German shoe industry, as well as the home of the football team FK Pirmasens.

Travelling by car
B10: With the federal highway B10 from Landau (on the A65) or Pirmasens to Hinterweidenthal and from there via Dahn to Schoenau-Gebueg.
Travelling by train
Via Pirmasens main station (approx. 17 km):
There is a bus connection to Schoenau about every ninety minutes.
Via Landau main station (approx. 37 km):

Zweibrücken Airport:
From there via Pirmasens to Schoenau-Gebueg. With the car approx. 30 minutes.
Frankfurt-Hahn

From there via Landstuhl and Pirmasens to Schoenau-Gebueg. With the car approx. 1 hour 30 minutes.
Frankfurt Airport:
From there via Mannheim-Saarbrücken-Pirmasens to Schoenau-Gebueg. With the car approx. 2 hours.
Karlsruhe-Baden Airport:
From there via the A5 in the direction of Karlsruhe toward the B10 via Landau toward Schoenau-Gebueg. With the car approx. 1 hour.
Stuttgart Airport:
From there via the A8 in the direction of Karlsruhe toward the B10 via Landau
